George J. Baker, Physician Assistant

Mr. Baker has extensive experience in Urgent Care, Internal Medicine and Orthopedics. Originally from Southern California, he has been a practicing Physician Assistant for over fifteen years. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard Academy at New London, Connecticut. While serving in the Coast Guard, he ran the Coast Guard Training Center Urgent Care, also serving as a Flight Medic and Medical Corpsman. After serving ten years aboard ship, he joined the civilian sector, attending Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon completing his Physician Assistant training, he relocated to South Florida in 1998.

He then worked ten years in Internal Medicine and six years in Orthopedics and Orthopedic surgery, before joining Naples & Estero Urgent Care in 2013. When not working, he enjoys boating, fishing, diving and spending time with his family.
